for rendering out production scenes, designed to teach the
user how to take advantage of the many powerful features
of the latest implementation of the mental ray industry
renderer within Softimage. Some topics covered include new
shaders, such as the Bokeh lens shader that allows for
the rendering of physically accurate depth of field effects,
including chromatic aberration. Also covered are more
techniques for lighting photo-realistic scenes, HDRI
rendering, caustics, new techniques for using the new
Photographic Exposure shader, and more.
