Welcome to the CD for 3D World issue 114. Echoing this issue's game design theme, the disc offers a selection of commercial material suitable for use in games development projects.
From WireCASE comes a set of low-polygon building models in 3DS and MAX formats, while 3d.sk sister company Environment Textures provides 14 samples from its extensive developer-friendly range. DAZ Productions contributes Michael 3.0 Base, a complete rigged figure with bonus textures, morphs and clothing and hair props, and SoundScalpel.com offers a sampler of its WAV-based sound effects.
The CD also includes a 21-minute tutorial on body modelling for games from The Gnomon Workshop, as well as either files or download links for use with every tutorial and reader Q&A in the issue, including three guides from professional games artists.

Welcome to the CD for 3D World issue 115.
